The Datum DCM1 Crack Monitor is an easy to use and very reliable marker that measures vertical and horizontal movement on surfaces.
Consisting of two precision gauges that overlap each other over their length, a base plate which is calibrated in millimetres, a transparent top plate which is marked with two lines that form a cross, makes this accessory a must have tool for surveyors alike.
The user can choose to affix the monitor by using screws or a standard epoxy two pack adhesive.
Once the crack monitor is in position over the crack, the crosshairs shift vertically or horizontally on the grid, should movement occur.
